During Will Week, taking place Monday 16th March to Friday 20th March, you can make or amend your Will with the support of trusted local solicitors—while helping to fund the vital care provided by the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.
Writing a Will is one of the most important things you can do to protect the people who matter most. By taking part in Hospice Will Week, you’ll receive professional legal support at a reduced rate, and your donation will go directly towards compassionate hospice care for individuals and families across our community.
Local participating solicitors have generously agreed to waive their usual fee for writing a basic Single or Joint Will. Instead, we invite you to make a suggested donation of £180 for a Single Will or £250 for a Joint Will, with 100% of your contribution supporting patient care at the hospice.
Taking part in Will Week is simple:
Choose a participating solicitor
Contact them directly to book your appointment
Make your donation to the hospice in place of the usual solicitor’s fee
Gain peace of mind knowing your wishes are protected and your support is making a difference
Protect your loved ones by making sure your wishes are known
Access expert legal advice from trusted local solicitors
Support essential hospice services through your donation
Feel confident knowing your gift helps people facing life‑limiting illnesses receive the care they deserve
To secure your place, simply contact your chosen solicitor directly. If you have general questions about Will Week, the hospice team is here to help
