Giving is better than receiving! Revel in that warm feeling after Christmas by recycling your Christmas tree while helping out your local hospice
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd has been collecting real Christmas trees from the local area for the past 8 years. This really is a community effort, with volunteers and Christmas tree suppliers advertising our service, local businesses providing vans and volunteers and tree services recycling the trees free of charge, ensuring that the hospice receives 100% of your donation.
Register your tree below, put it outside for pick up and leave it to us to collect it. Our volunteers will be out collecting the trees between Thursday 14th January and Sunday 17th January 2027.
We will be collecting from areas with the postcodes: CH1, CH2, CH3, CH4, CH5, CH64, CH65, CH66, WA6 & CW6
There is not a standard charge, just a donation to help us provide a variety of services to patients and their families throughout our community. Choose your amount and leave the rest to us.
Our average donation last year worked out at £15.20, we collected 3886 trees and raised over £50,000 helping pay for 3 days of running costs 🩵
