With three route options of approximately 31, 47, or 82 miles, there’s something for everyone – from families and first‑time riders on the shorter distance to experienced cyclists looking for a bigger challenge.

Free charity places

We’re offering a limited number of free charity places, giving you entry at no cost when you commit to fundraising. Starting and finishing in Chester, the routes explore the beautiful Cheshire countryside on quiet lanes, making it a welcoming and enjoyable day out for riders of all abilities.

Each rider will have a minimum sponsorship target of £150.

You’ll receive full fundraising support every step of the way, helping you turn your ride into a meaningful experience that makes a real difference in our community.

Who can take part in Bike Chester?
Bike Chester is open to cyclists of all abilities. With multiple route options available, the event is family‑friendly and suitable for beginners, leisure riders, and more experienced cyclists alike. You can choose a distance that matches your confidence and fitness level.
A free charity place gives you entry to the event at no cost when you agree to fundraise for our charity. You’ll also receive fundraising support, tips, and resources to help you reach your target and make the most of your ride.
No special experience is required. A roadworthy bike, helmet, and enthusiasm are all you need. The routes are fully signposted, with support available on the day, making it a safe and enjoyable experience for all riders.
