Instead of feigning delight and secretly searching for the receipt, we are appealing for duplicate and unwanted gifts from the festive season to be donated to one of our five local charity shops or Hospice reception. The gifts will either be sold in our shops or used as fundraising prizes throughout the year.

When the festive period draws to a close, the simplest, greenest and most charitable way for local residents to get rid of their real Christmas tree is to have it collected and recycled by your local Hospice.

More than 170 volunteers from M&S Bank became elves for a two day mega ‘wrapathon’ in support of the Hospice of the Good Shepherd as they wrapped 3000 presents for a Santa’s Charity Grotto opening soon at Gordale Garden Centre.
