Our Charity Shops

Our shops are at the heart of our community and help us provide much needed funds so that the Hospice can continue to provide free end of life care to patients who are living with a life limiting illness. We offer high-quality items for sale at great prices. We are reliant upon donations of good quality furniture, clothing, bric -a-brac and electrical goods to ensure we can stock our shops. All of the money raised through the donations and sale of items support the vital end of life care delivered by our dedicated team at the Hospice.

Donate to our shops

If you don’t need it, don’t throw it away. We will be delighted to receive your good quality preloved donations.

We are always grateful for donations of good quality second hand goods and we offer a free collection service for good quality furniture and white goods. Please use our Collection Form here for the following items:

  • Furniture such as sofas, chairs, beds, wardrobes, dining room furniture. (Before you complete our form to book a collection it would be helpful if you can check that all upholstered furniture has a fire label, otherwise we are unable to accept them.)
  • White Goods such as fridges/freezers/washing machines/dishwashers

Once you have completed and submitted this form you’ll be contacted within 72 hours by one of our team to confirm your booking (If you are completing this form on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, we will contact you on the next available working day). At this time we will discuss our health and safety guidelines with you. When our van driver comes to collect they will make the final decision on any donations.

Currently the areas we are collecting from are:
CH1. CH2, CH3, CH4, CH5, CH63, CH64, CH65 and CH66.

Please note that we are only collecting furniture and white goods. We also cannot collect large wall units, CD racks and glass TV stands until further notice.

We can also accept donations at any of our six shops for the following items:

  • Small household electricals
  • Clothing
  • Homewares
