Furniture & White Goods Collection

We offer a free collection service for good quality furniture and white goods

Here at the hospice, we are immensely grateful for the generosity of anyone willing to donate their furniture or white goods to our charity.

We would like to thank anyone who is able to do so. Good quality donated stock is the lifeblood of our retail business, and we would not be able keep our shops open without your support.

Please note that all collections are down to drivers’ discretion.

There are certain items we can’t accept due to health & safety and hygiene reasons

Microwaves.

Gas or electric ovens.

Baby equipment (high chairs, bouncy chairs, etc).

Disability aids.

Glass TV stands.

Beds without a mattress (or vice versa).

Very large wardrobes and wall units.

Dismantled furniture.

We do not collect bags of clothes, bric a brac, books and smaller items. You are welcome to drop these items at one of our shops.

This list is extensive, but there may be some exceptions to these conditions so please ask when booking your collection slot.

I understand that all collections are undertaken at the driver's discretion.

We will collect good quality furniture and white goods that we can sell, to raise vital funds for our hospice. Items must be clean and undamaged. Fabric and upholstered items must have a relevant fire label.Our drivers will check your items on your allocated collection day and confirm what they accept. Unfortunately, we cannot accept unsellable furniture or white goods.
