We operate closed‑circuit television (CCTV) at our premises for the purposes of maintaining the safety and security of our patients, visitors, staff, volunteers and property.
CCTV may capture images of individuals, which constitutes personal data under the UK GDPR. We rely on our legitimate interests to ensure a safe and secure environment as our lawful basis for this processing.
Clear signage is displayed to inform individuals that CCTV recording is in operation, as required.
Footage is retained only for as long as necessary for security and safety purposes, is stored securely, and access is strictly controlled. Individuals have the right to request access to footage that identifies them, subject to applicable exemptions.
