Thank you!

Firstly, a massive thank you from everyone at the hospice.

Whether you’re taking part in support of our work, in memory of someone, or simply for enjoyment, your participation and anything you are able to raise makes a huge difference to the people we care for every day.

The hospice relies on the local community to raise 83% of our running costs each year.

Without the support of people like you, we simply wouldn’t be here.

If you require any assistance, or have any questions about fundraising, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

In 2017 my nan was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer...

At the end of her short journey, she was given a bed in the hospice. This meant that the family were able to spend the precious last days by her side and surrounded by those who loved her.
There was no rush to leave the room when she peacefully passed away, we were able to take our time.
My nan was pain free, comfortable and in lovely surroundings. It was a peaceful setting with fresh flowers in the room which my nan loved.
All the staff are amazing. Nothing was ever too much and listened to our concerns or questions. It can be such an awful journey but being at the hospice made it a little better.
Showing support to the hospice is giving something back for the way they care for my nan in her last days but also supporting the family. As a family we support as much as we can and it is a nice way to keep my nan memory going, she would also love it that we do this as a family.”
