Christmas Cards That Make The Difference In Your Local Community
The Hospice of the Good Shepherd has officially launched their exciting range of exclusive Christmas cards to help raise money for local people with a life limiting illness, with 100% of the profit going to support the charity.
Christmas cards are big business in the UK, every year close to 2 billion Christmas cards are sent in the UK and approximately 30% of these include a charitable donation. However, the amount of money actually going to charity varies enormously depending on where you buy your cards, so how do you know which cards to buy to ensure that an acceptable donation is made to the designated charity. By purchasing your Christmas cards through the Hospice this year all profits go directly to supporting the vital work and services they provide to local residents and patients in your community.
There are 14 different styles to choose from including traditional nativity scenes, modern twists on classic carols and winter wonderlands of iconic landmarks in Chester. There is something for everyone!
Caroline Siddall, Director of Income Generation, said: “It’s a brilliant way of doing your Christmas shopping and 100 percent of the profits help support the Hospice of the Good Shepherd. It is a vitally important income stream that helps us continue to provide palliative care for our patients and make a difference in your local community.”
You can buy cards from any of our five Charity shops, from our Hospice Café in Backford or via our website www.hospicegs.com
