Bake A Difference 2019
- Date: Tuesday, January 1, 2019 - Tuesday, December 31, 2019
- Time: All Day
Bake A Difference: Help us always be there to care by hosting a ‘Bake a Difference’ tea party event to support the Hospice!
Venue: At Work, Home, School or in the Community – you decide!
Get together with your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues! Put your baking skills to the test to raise funds and help support people affected by a life limiting illness.
From a catch up with friends over a cuppa to office cakes with colleagues; choose a vintage tea party or traditional afternoon tea – your ‘Bake a Difference’ event can be as big or small as you’d like it to be!
Whatever you do, however you get involved, you’ll be raising vital funds for your local community Hospice.
At the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, we provide specialist, end-of-life care to our patients and their loved ones. Our dedicated team of doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, complementary therapists and caring support staff provide round the clock care to our patients and ongoing support for their families.
It costs over £4 million a year to provide our services for free; yet we receive less than 25 percent of our funds from the NHS.
Help us raise lots of dough-nations and tell us about your ‘Bake a Difference’ event
We’ve got a fundraising pack with all the right ingredients and resources you need to make your ‘Bake a Difference’ event a real showstopper with fabulous cake recipes from celebrities Paul Hollywood, Rick Stein, Matt Tebbutt and Jane Asher! We can also provide you with collection tins or cardboard money boxes.
Every tea party is important to us no matter the size or how much is raised. So make sure you let us know about your ‘Bake a Difference’ event so we can help promote it and support you. When sharing news and pics from your ‘Bake a Difference’ event, join the conversation and use #Bakeadifference2019
